Things calmed down a lot when Uplink went onto steam. The forum had moved past the "PLZ HELP WID LEVEL!!11!!!1!" stage for a while, since the game was established and the forum wasn't realy about the game anymore. Without meaning to be rude, when the n00bs turned up again, everyone de-bunked.

It'll pick up again, have no fear. :lol:

No they're not trolls. You would almost reach the deffinition of troll. These people you are trying to call trolls are actually people who know what they are talking about, use proper grammar, and ask relevant questions. You did the last two but need to work on the first.

He didn't "diss" you as you put it he made a simple statement that made perfect sense and pointed out that maybe you should think a little bit before you ask a question or maybe go back and think after asking.

So maybe you should realise that when he said that it doesn't say anywhere that you have to download all the other patches first, or the fact that it says LATEST PATCH that it's the latest patch to come out.

So before you go calling people trolls, look at yourself first and respect the people that know more than you.

Besides... people with proper grammer can still be trolls... they are just a bit worse than the 12 year old kids.

I'll have to agree, Montyphy wasn't a troll.

A bit of an ass? Probably... Could he be nicer? Sure, but then again it's understandable...with the insane amount of posts this forum is getting lately, if people just post whatever crap comes to their mind it might get impossible to read all the other REALLY important topics around....

Meaning he didn't help and therefore I don't diss people who help me.

well my Main aim was just to have something to talk about and maybe push Uplink talk on to you all after you all Rant about how bad Trolls are
