Also it was never called "Hackers 2: Takedown". It was just Takedown. Hackers 2 Takedown is what it is called on P2P sharing.

Its a damn sight more realisitic than most though. At least the systems he's using are linux machines and the source code shown on the screens at points through the movie are bits from real compression scheme (The intro one is bzip2) and even a few from Jigsaw (the web server)
The IP addresses for the satalites correlates to the fact that they can only be controlled from an internal network (10.n.n.n).
When you go back and look at, say, hackers. You see it did a better job than most
