If you delete the email, but still act quickly enough, you can still enter the storyline. The dead agent's user name for the server is the same as his agent name, (look on the agent rankings, he'll be number 1) and the password is always the same (MySocratesNote). As long as you only recently recieved the email, you will be ok.

Do u have to try the agent's access data for the storyline to start?

I don't remember if I tried to crack it right away without trying the access code.

Actually my question was - I did crack the ARC machine, but I don't remember if I tried it with the dead agent's password (pointless, when you know they don't work, right?)... do I have to? I'm just past that point in the story... well I guess I'll just skip a couple days and see.

Well, here's an idea.

Get the date/time the agent died (it matches something else). Now, break into the ARC Central Mainframe. You will notice that a certain log, the same date/time the agent died, has an IP. Now, turn it into a Trace a hacker mission. Once you get to his PC, hack into it using his pass (MySocratesNote) and click on "Filez". Copy RevelationCore0.7 to your gateway. ARC will e-mail you about your superb hack, which kicks off the storyline.

I get access to the storyline by simply connectinng to ARC mainframe (not via a trusted machine)

i havnt gotten the dead agents e-mail and som1 earlyer said that its allways the #1 agent... but right now im #1.. do i have 2 start over 2 get the e-mail or is their a way 2 jumpstart the storyline?

i just read somwhere else in the forum that the e-mail comes on april 14th and it was only the 8th... so just ignore this(if any1 would call this a spoiler then just say so and i will erase this post)
