Training Mission?
I've only just found this game...i'm going to sound a complete tit, but you've gotta learn somewhere...on the training mission, what user name and code do you have to enter? How do you figure it out...?

I don't quite understand what you are asking for...

OK, I must warn you that you're never really going to benefit from me tell you this. In fact, my telling you this could stand to be the bane of your Uplink playing days. For the Uplink Test Server, the details are:
User: admin
Password: rosebud
How you figure it out is given to you by the game very clearly.

The tutorial tells you to go to the Uplink Internal Services System, then go into Software and but a password breaker and a trace tracker. You run the trace tracker, bounce to the Uplink Test Machine, run the password breaker on the log in box, copy the file into your databanks then send it back through the e-mail - it's simple!
The tutorial is flawed.
You can't get the good trace tracker with the initial 3000 credits.
or you can get it and not the password breaker.
get the breaker, then do a few missions. then buy the trace tracker.
There are normally 2 tough bastards at that level. just hope you are doing the normal ones blind...

It's not really that flawed... it's designed to be used by new players wanting to learn the game mechanics. A new player is better starting off with low level software to learn the game mechanics, and would miss out on one of the game's most vital aspects by doing their training mission blind.
