Sweaty bob: That's an innovative mind ya got yerself there.
SEH: What would you suggest he should have done? Gone onto a forum about 50cc scooters and asked there if they knew any good places to ask? It was a perfectly sensible thing to do. Leave 'im alone. Hmmph.

He obviously values our opinions.
I don't know where you are geographicly, SB, but a friend of mine is well into scooters, and he reckons that the peugeot speedfight 2 kicks ass if you have it tweeked a little, and the Vespa piaggio is good too.
But he finshed his sentence with: "..but he should try getting one with a larger engine than a lawnmower."

What I suggest? I suggest he finds a good place to ask. If he doesn't know one, he googles.
Seriously, though, what's closest?
Asking about scooters on a forum dedicated to a hacking game, or an automobile forum?

I have to say when I was in your position, I was desperate for a bike, but when I turned 17 and got a car, I realised it was worth the wait.
Having said that, I was thinking about an Aprillia RS50 when I was your age...
