Since we're getting into incidental information here, how about one for Matrix/history fans (if those are not mutually exclusive :wink:

). The Merovingian in the Matrix was based on the legend of the Merovingians, who were supposedly an extended family/tribe/army that founded Paris and effectively created France. Moreover, they were supposedly directly decended from Jesus Christ...

If you can figure out how that works, and/or why the Matrix/France connection is remotely significant, I will be impressed.

And a coconut to the person that knows where I got this info from... I'd like to point out here and now that it is all Legend, not even necessarily established legend, and could be complete and utter balls. I read it somewhere, that's all I'm saying.
