Well, it looks like I'm screwed. But I will try to defend myself to the very end.

Curiosity wrote:Is no-one else getting a little bit worried that there seems to be very little objection from people about who is lynched?

If they were wolves, wouldn't some fellow wolves try and start suspicion on someone else?

Curiosity hit the nail on this one. I know this probably won't help my chances too much, but I am still going to say that what Curiosity said is because I am human. Not that anyone here will believe me, but I am.

I wasn't referring just to this round.

Look at yesterday and Day 2 (to an extent) not much of an objection to who was being lynched on either day.

I'm going to register my discomfort with a vote for Athamou, in the full knowledge that NeoTheOne175 is gonna die anyway.

EDIT: I've just realised that unless Athamou votes pretty soon he's gonna die tonight as well.

Well I've been ill all day so I've not really been keeping track of events. I guess NeoTheOne175 has the best argument against him, and right now I'm not really up for some serious thinking so I'll vote for him.

While eating a fine roast boar for lunch, Athamou explodes. He's not much loss though, because he had no status in the village.

Confident that they had found another wolf in NeoTheOne175, the villagers string him up and parade him around the town. Everyone seems to be happy that he's going to die.

They set him down on a pile of wood doused with petrol, when he screams "IT'S NOT ME...". However, his plea falls on deaf ears as a match is struck, and the wood bursts into flames.

NeoTheOne175 has been killed!

Athamou missed 3 votes, and so has been removed from the game. He was a lowly villager.

It is now NIGHT.

Wolves/wolf, message me the name of the person you wish to feast on tonight.
Wolf with conversion, if are still alive and/or you still have your powers, message me if you want to convert a villager.
Seer, if you're still alive, message me the name of the player you would like to have a vision about.
Guardian Angel, if you're still alive, message me the name of the player you wish to protect tonight.

Night will end at 21:00 BST.

Well, I'm obviously not happy I'm dead, but it was fun while it lasted. I believe I've come away from this with some useful insights as to what NOT to do, and I hope I'll be able to put them to use in TWG 6. I thank Curiosity for apparently being the sole person to see through the "logic" (of lack thereof) of the bandwagon vote and resist voting for me; alas, if only they had listened to you, Curio! I bid you all farewell and hope the wolves meet their well-deserved demise.

The wolves have failed to vote again. This is getting stupid.

There are 3 things I can do:

a) Continue
b) Start the game again with new roles
c) Hand over to Blasted Heath for TWG 6

Your votes, please.

I think we should end it. I also think we need a gap before TWG 6 or a re-start.

How many people are actually playing properly? maybe half?

Me300, Athamou, Adam Black all missed 2 votes.

Then you have those who only vote and never post otherwise. Especially when they have to be reminded to vote a few minutes before night falls.

3 days out of 4the lynch vote has been one-sided completely and the only day it wasn't, both of them have been lynched anyway.

This may be because people all agree, but it may just be because everyone is too lazy to look themselves and just goes 'well everyone else voted for him, so I will'.

If we are lynching humans, it's not cause of wolf-skill, it's because of human laziness.

This game should be stopped, and then we either re-start or we go to TWG 6, either way, with a break beforehand.

Ok, this would actually be a perfect time to start #6 as I will be going to london not too long away, and if this is redone I will not have time to host #6.

I vote we start #6 now, and redo this one again (if coolsi is willing to host again) after, or whenever really.

As Curio suggests it might be a good idea to wait a couple of days then start.

Ok, having discussed the situation on IRC it was decided that twg #6 shall be opened for signups on the first of August.

This does mean that you can restart this game, or continue..

If you have any trouble with this time please say so.

TWG 5 has ENDED.

Because people have been so inactive, it seems pointless to continue.

Part of the problem is the fact that there have been so many games back to back and people have just lost interest - including me, to an extent.

Therefore, as a result I've decided to end the game.

The roles were:

Wolves: Deepsmeg (conversion), Adam Black and LLamaBoy
Seer: Darksun
Guardian Angel: Ozymandias IV
Vigilante: AgentX 24
Masons: elDiablo, Cold Fusion and Me300
Cupid: Muji
Lovers: Curiosity and Ozymandias IV

Curiosity was protected on Night 1.

elDiablo was converted on Night 1. Unfortunately, I had forgotten that masons couldn't be converted so sorry about that humans...I was only reminded after it happened.

As you can see, you all did pretty poorly :p

As I understand there will be a gap now before TWG 6 so that people can get more interested in the game.

Cheers, coolsi.
