Heh, I guess I should read the forum more often. Like Mega said, getting a large crowd is really too amazing for words. DDR is one of the better arcade games, just because of the ability to make normal people stop and stare at you, then come up to you and ask how the hell you did it. The fun really starts when you learn to do some easy freestyle stuff, and amaze the people more. ^_^

Most video gamers enjoy sitting on their butt all day playing VGs. Not too healthy. DDR is the only known VG (besides some clones) that you can lose weight playing!
Hasn't helped Megadeth/Jaffa/CrazyPixieBitch\RoystonD12 much

A DDR topic, on an uplink forum?
My life is complete! ^_^
As for me, i am a somewhat DDR freak. I know a small..small...SMALL amount of freestyle, and i play a load of maniac (heavy for all you DDR newbs) songs. I play arcade only, there aren't many console games in New Zealand.
Ah yes, So true... a crowd earned is a amazing thing, espically when you overhear comments like: "How does he do that?"
and (true story) when you hear someone talk about you when you are walking down the street saying "hey, look, its that hardcore DDR guy" and that happened the day after lolz
Of course, in those crowds you get the cocky people who get on the other pad and try and do what you are doing, so you just pick a really hard song to shame them out.
DDR is teh funness.

In my day DDR stood for Deutsche Demokratische Republik and was the country between West Germany and Czechoslovakia where you shat your pants going through the border on the way to Berlin. According to official East German records I'm still there.
Then some RAM came along and annexed the acronym which I was a bit miffed about and now some strange game for the hyperactive showoff what will they think of next?
The redbaron dodders off for his cocoa.

I didn't fail on my first arcade play!
Probably because i've been playing stepmania/ffr on my computer (keyboarder) but even so.
I don't think I've failed any single song i've played, though I did get too tired on stage 3 of internet ranking mode and gave up....
Managed to B rednex - cotton eye joe on heavy for a bet though, which I was pretty chuffed with!
