XBOX v PS2
Here i want a debate about which is best XBOx or PS2.
COme up with arguments. I have wanted to do this for ages.
Okay. I support XBOX. it is newer, better graphics, hard disk memory, some good games, good hardware (skateboard, dance mat).
Problems:
Xbox live you need a subscription and pay each month. PS2 online you don't pay.
My friend calls it 'a bad computer in a box'

Microsofts standards of quality, makesmanship, and compactness all apply to the XBOX as well.
Get it?
Also, there are almost as many buttons on the XBOX controller as there are on a computer keyboard, even though I know you don't use them all in one game, it's still ridiculous.

Its not a word. . . You were looking for "craftsmanship." And actually most Microsoft products are very well crafted and are high quality.
I don't really like consoles (well not since they stopped using ROM cards). However while XBox has better specs and some very good games, the PS2 has a huge library. Both are decent consoles.

Xbox should become allies with PS2. Then gang-up on Gamecube.
(No offence to gamecube users. It was a joke!)
Ok Fuck you dude...GC kicks ASS!!! Its the only platform to claim the ownership of rights to Resident Evil games. They are soon coming out with a Resident Evil 4 - which is gonna be so sweet - but anyway, I voted PS2 cause I HATE X-Box for the fact that it has shitty games and the controllers are obnoxiously big, that Microsoft is trying to Monopolize this as well. IF Billy Gates wanted to he could BUY Sony AND Nintendo for that matter.
I think PSP2 is better..
Better controls.
Better "feeling" to the console.
Cooler games, the best fighting games (which are my favourites)
are on the psp platform..
Also, I dont like the fact that Microsoft designed the xbox..

Firstly that is only one Microsoft product. Secondly, I would challenge anyone to create an OS which is backward compatible all the way to DOS in some cases and has every hacker in the world attacking it constantly. If you look at Linux no one has done any better all near Windows level Linux distros are riddled with holes. OSX has its share of vulnerabilities even though it is built off BSD and is not backward compatible. If you look at Microsoft's other products you see that they are very high quality, Office is the standard for all productivity software, Microsofts game studio consistantly turns out many of the best games, Freelancer, Halo, Rise of Nations, Age of Empires, Flight Simulator, etc. It is quite fair to see shortcomings in Windows, but to say Microsoft doesn't produce quality stuff is just silly.
