BS Hacker - replay

Postby phuze » Mon Apr 12, 2004 8:49 pm

Have you guys ever played the game, "BS hacker - replay"? I have seen a couple of links for the demo, but haven't played it yet. I think it's another hacking simulation type game, and I was wonderin if it even stood up to Uplink

Heya,

I've played it and considering that it's only at the beginning , I must say it's very good.

We sometimes need a little bit of diversity ;)

All the games at exoSyphen looks very alike. It's just the missions that are different and everybody could do it themselves.

The only few features that are different are logs and commands.
I did defeat Epyon, on Hard Mode but I used up lots of continues. :)

Realism doesn't neccessarily mean a good thing.

Real hacking (not script kiddying) is said to be very boring.

yes realism doesn't mean that it is good, but anyway i like it

and the real hacking is borer just if u dont have the hacker's spirit i believe, hack is not the action of destroy computers and steal money, a hacker is someone that feel the need to know

Yes, but as we said, this is not realism, this is a game, which is designed to be fun, and realism in the case would be boring and inaccessible to most people who play.

i know, for that i play uplink, it's fun. my point was that i liked BS Hacker Replay (but not more than uplink) cause it's more realistic (but uplink is more playable), anymore.

It's not bad. I"m currently playing Blue Sky acceptable casualties, and Digital Hazard.

Or fiddle with things. Basically geekness with passion/obsession, maybe a compulsive disorder and a twist of genius.

A need to fiddle with things doesn't make you a hacker, it makes you a typical red blooded bloke :P
