People who used to play the Demo version

When you got the demo, how long did it take before you decided to buy the full version?
It took me about half an hour before I decided to get it because it was so good:)
I wouldn't have even heard of the game if a review had'nt been put on http://www.the-underdogs.org

i did always wanted to have a hacking game
and when uplink game out (i was so happy)

I love uplink
the best game ever an for ever is uplink

two days i had two play it a couple of times got arrested the first time through the gate hacked the gov't mainframe

I think shortly after hacking my first real mission computer, not the Uplink Test Computer, becoming tense as the Trace got closer, cursing at my slow comp and poor processing power, and barely grabbing the file I needed before the trace came through, I was hooked after that. I plan on buying the full game as soon as I can find it.

Almost a year I had to settle for the demo before I was finally able to order Uplink: Hacker Elite. Just got it in this week.

I lasted about 3 days! I only got the full game about a week ago. Just played it long enough to make sure there were no irritating bugs!

There's a few bugs, most of them are fixable/avoidable though

I never Played the demo of uplink.
i read a review and bought the game as soon as it came out in the UK updated every time there was one and ive been loving it ever since

The first time that I got the black screen that said that I was out of time was when I wanted it. It took a little under a month (Christmas gift) but I did get it.

The record for my fastest game purchase still belongs to Max Payne. Fifteen minutes after installing the demo version I drove out to the store and bought a copy, then proceeded to go on an eight hour marathon and beat the game.

I played for about 2 weeks, I think what finally turned me was just being extremely frustrated about the demo bombing out just as you began to have fun.

I can still remember when i order it, it was the longest week of my life :-)

Same here, you go to school, think of all the fun you could be having on uplink, and just can't think or concentrate on anything else:)

4 days....thats how long it took to ship. I successfully stole 1.2 mil from an account on the demo and i was stopped because my rating reached confident...after that i was hooked

I got it about a month after I played the demo...thinking about it, if I'd ordered it straight away I would have managed to get one of the original CD-R copies. Ah well... :(

Never tried the demo. Just one day decided to borrow a disc from a friend of mine which supposedly had a "hacking game". I was reluctant to return the CD to him
