A new source of tactics

Postby nick.hardman » Sun Nov 12, 2006 8:30 pm

Hi guys.

A friend of mine has made a website about defcon tactics, http://www.defcon-tactics.com which has some hints and tips about the game. You can read hints, tips and other tactics, and add any of your own tactics for others to read!

I hope you guys like it!

your friend has no web-skills, even though he is a webdesigner.

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=www.i ... ype=Inline
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=www.e ... ype=Inline

Google with 47 errors on FIRST place on my list now
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=www.g ... ype=Inline

Alphager stop being an asshole and smart ass and try to make your own site which hasen't one single error in it.
You have no kindness and your snootiness is beyond anything... I hope you get it.

I really appreciate your friend's work Nick.

When launching a nuclear attack with subs, you want to be as close as possible to the target.

Thats a stupid tactic, if subs surface right next to an enemy coastline, they will get destroyed instantly by bombers.

Best why is to launch from outside the enemy's radar range, that why he will have to fly out to the subs to see them before the bombers can start shooting at them, by then, most of the nukes will be away.

The only disadvantage is you won't be able to hit all of your targets if you're too far out.

So what you need to do is get as far away as you can whilst still being in range of your targets.
Here is my signature. Make of it what you will.

I can't remember how i got that info; either from the whois-info on that domain, or he had a link to his business somewhere.
Either way, the site has been fixed.

Cunny Funt: It is pretty easy to write pages compliant with the standards. Google does not comply because of a simple reason: the site is so simple that it works with every browser, and if they added the doctype, it would augment their traffic-bill by several terrabyte.

500 Server closed connection without sending any data back

Bad NeoThermic. :D Yes, it does indeed validate!

Unless you left your HTTP spec handbook at home, a 500 error has nothing to do with me or the XHTML on my site. Ineed, a 500 error is a server error. ;)
