Player Colours - more choices please?

Postby Mighty Santa » Fri Nov 10, 2006 12:25 am

Just a very minor one, but why not...

We've six colours so far to choose from...can we have a few more options please?
Yes, the modders could/already are doing it, but I'd rather it be standard for the game.

New Colours..

Pink (why not, a camp Europe is perfectly...fine  )
White (don't tell me its not a colour)
Dark Purple
Forest Green

Any other suggestions?

Santa - would NOT choose pink, but the option would be nice

No dark colors please. I would like something to replace blue for visibility.

Like your soul?

Actually, that reminds me of a conversation I had with some friends a couple of years ago, when I still drank coffee. I always drank my coffee black -- no cream, no sugar, no fucking maple nut crunch. Just plain, black coffee, strong enough to stand a fork in. At one point, I was having coffee with these friends, and was giving them a hard time for ruining perfectly good coffee by loading it up with sugar and cream. His response was this:

"Look, you have to understand -- I like my coffee like I like my women: short, tan and sweet. I can only presume that you like your coffee like you women: tall, black, and bitter"

To which I replied, "No. You aren't quite right. I do like my coffee like I like my women. That is to say, packed in crates and shipped from Columbia."

You drink tea.

Pink? Mighty Santa, I think you would pick pink.
I think it's a good idea just because blue is harder to see.

Yes, though only tea with no caffeine.

I was wrong about you. I don't drink coffee or tea for the caffeine.

I don't either -- at least not any more. Four or five years ago, I drank a lot of coffee. I mean, a lot. I measured my coffee intake in pots rather than cups -- generally in the neighborhood of 2-3 pots per day, 4 on a bad day. I stopped drinking coffee when my fencing coach very strongly recommended that it would be a good idea. At this point, I don't drink anything with caffiene in it. Furthermore, Wendryn gets premature ventricular contractions that are agrivated by caffiene, so she doesn't drink anything caffienated either. We work well together.

I preferred to use the sabre, always fun, though the foil was as well.

I am a foilist. I have fenced a bit of sabre, and a little more epee, but neither is quite my style. Foil for the win!
