Big Bank Hacking Tip

I recently discovered a way to find big bank accounts without having to hack into banks.

1) Start a new bank account somewhere other than Uplink International.

2) Transfer all the cash you have currently into that account.

3) Go to the stock market (register if you are not already) and buy stock until your bank account becomes withdrawn over the limit.

4) You will receive a message from Uplink saying you must pay a 500c fine for overwithdrawal (is that a word?

).

5) Hack into the bank account they give you to transfer the $$$ for the fine. There is usually 1 million+ in that account.

There ya go, that's the most foolproof way I've found to do it.

better yet, hack the admin account(remebering to use your bypassers) and copy down all the account numbers in the data base, then crack the passwords and look around to find the biggest account, its alot better than going overdrawn;), esspecially since you can be disavowed for failing to pay fines

Hard to tell which way is more long-winded.

But I somehow prefer the usual procedure (hacking into a bank as admin and copying the accounts). Would be nice if there was a way to save the listing of bank accounts in Uplink - similar to cracked accounts, without having to write all of them down.

i think the best way to find the accounts is to take a trace recent transfer mission and the account the money is transfered to usually has loads of money

True, it is easy to trace balance transfers and what not, but, as long as you pay the 500 c fine (which I do not believe is too difficult

) then you are home free with (as far as I've seen) a rather large bank account for you to hack. One advantage of this method over hacking the admin account is it takes less time and it is a guaranteed (or at least for all the accounts I've hacked) large account for you to get into. I've hacked banks before without having one single account over 100,000 c. Very frustrating.

I've only managed to hack bank accounts once... As soon as the transfer was done and the log removed, I immediately disconnected, went to InterNIC and cleared the redirection and authentication logs. I logged onto my bank account, saw that the money was there, and was about to remove the "money received" log when suddenly I'm caught! :-X
Am I doing things in the right order?
