Okay...

You mean that's impossible to "lock" the loop (east-west scrolling) ?

If I entirely make Arda, 80 % of lands will be unusable...

Please, concerning map "loop".

If I draw these limits on extreme West and East (in order to look like a card) it resolves the problem. But is it possible to make the all area outside the limits inaccessible for units ?

You could always have the entire world map of Arda

It will be inaccessible for ships, but aircraft and nukes can still travel over it.

I don't know anyway of turning off map wrapping, I think we will just have to live with it until IV adds an option for it.

This mod is on standby. Nevertheless I put the units at disposal.

Because Middle Earth is a very small part of Arda. And for the rest of the world we don't know countries, regions and cities.

There's an atlas of middle earth you can get that was created based off of Tolkien's notes and stuff. That that might show all the cities in all the other continents. Or did Tolkein stop with Arda?
BTW, nice work.

Sorry for the Up.

I think so.

Coming soon : Middle Earth Sounds
With sounds from the movies (and maybe ambiant musics). For example, you'll hear how Gollum reacts to the destruction of a city...

If you're going to include other countries from middle earth, I recommend getting (or looking at) the Atlas of Middle Earth by Karen Wynn Fonstad. She adresses the issue of round v. flat, and has complete maps of many of the areas and continents of all three ages. The atlas includes everything from the Simerillion to the histories.

Very nice, can't wait to see extra bits added to it.

It's not a big issue, but could you add a mod.txt to the package, for use with the next patch?

Thanks for the reference.

It's done, of course.
If all goes well it will be for the mod's v1.1 with sounds.

I am working on sounds for the mod and I read some informations concerning the rights in this forum. In your opinion, can I use the sounds (dialogs extracts) and music drawn from films or is there really a risk ?

If I don't use the film's musics, alternatives are :

- .midi files (I heard some, I refuse :x)
- free downloadable musics from other games (like Anarchy Online)
- free downloadable musics inspired by Tolkien's world (I didn't find some)
- keep the Defcon's music, which after all lends itself well to this universe
