Ok, I guess this could be considered spam, but it's better than some of the other stuff I've seen here.

Where did you all come up with your nicknames?

This was done a while back, but I think the thread was deleted, or I am just too damn lazy to go looking for the old one.

Rkiver is a play on words. It comes from the word archive, ie a place where knowledge is stored. An archiver is someone who looks after the archive, hence Rkiver = archiver.  Why I picked that....honestly I can't remember. So not so good at keeping the old archive now am I? ;)

Agent Sam = Mas Tnega backwards.

I'm a lazy dratsab, ok? As this was the first thing I actually had to register for (scary that, I had a computer for nearly 1 and a half years beforehand) I decided to use the nick I used when playing Uplink, and then I used it everywhere.

That's what he tells you. WE know it's a corruption of "Masta Nigga".

It was done multiple times before, I remember that I started the last one, but that' fun, and in no way spam.

ODDin is consisted of two things (you can see it by the capital lettres).

1) Odd - it's not only "weird", it's also "unique and different".

2) Odin - a Scandinavian god. I rather like their mythology.

BTW, Ozymandias, people usually start these threads by explaining their OWN nicks....

Oh, yeah, Darksun, I remember last time this thread led to the publishing of my story... heh... :)

I'll tell you where I got mine eventually.

I realize that everyone who has posted here has been a veteran. Just noticing.

I got mine from a mod for the original UT called AgentX.  As AgentX was already registered here, I added the 24 for no reason other than that was the version number of the mod (2.4).

That was boring wasn't it.

Jackman without the 'a'.

No, my name's not Jack.

No, my initials are not 'MN'.

I don't really have any clue as to why I picked this name, but it's the one I always use.

Maybe your a closet Hugh Jackman fan.  ;)

My name is actually rather nonsense (as if that is a surprise).  When I went to create my first email address I wanted something unique so I took a nickname (sort of), Stew, and then added some semi-random nonsense to it.  :)

I've been using Krieg for a long while now... when I first started playing Day of Defeat, I believe (a world war 2 mod for Half Life).

Anyways.. I study the German language, and 'Krieg' is German for 'war'. It sounded like a cool name, and thus, here I am.

Scarteris was my name before that. It has no meaning, other than I thought it sounded cool.

I don't know why I picked it, but Forever Zero is Lynx's ultimate attack in the game Chrono Cross. Lynx was probably one of the coolest characters in that game, so instead of taking Lynx as my name, I took the name of his attack that basically collapses the univarse in on itself and "Knocks out your TV" (The screen goes totally black with the music and image gone for about 5 seconds when you use the attack...) with the power of it's attack...

Yeah, it's lame, but I use it everywhere I go now, and it is rarely ever taken, so I stick with it.
