Leaving IV Community

Yes, I know, I've been a little slow on the forums anyway. But that's because there's no point to them anymore.

Any post is subject to flames, any comment is likely to go unheard.

I hate the way the community has turned into just a big bunch of people blabbing and it's all complaints.

There's no useful input, no useful output and no... well,.... community...

so I'm moving over to exosyphen's forum and not worrying myself with anything to do with introversion or uplink.

I dislike exosyphen. mainly for making cruddy games and breaking the rules of the GPL.

And being snotty little goits about it when it's pointed out to them.

I wouldn't throw any insults but I would like to point out that all of the games just look way too similar. It's just the missions that is different and you can make them yourself. You better not go with exosyphen or you will find yourself wasting money.

lol. w-r-o-n-g in both ways. I initally joined not intending to stay and all the guyz there were really nice to anyone, even when I was being a bit of a n00b. And the members area is just for beta testers and future development discussion (see, the staff actually listen to input and reply to every single idea)

oh come on, I goofed up the ordering on their older games so they gave me their latest one for free. plus they aren't bothered about you giving friends free copies and there's two methods to actually get the files instead of just delivery, you get a virtual copy too. btw. their customer service is 100% first rate.

it wasn't pointed out lol. I read those posts. it was FLAMED with a capital flame. and rob wasn't advertising half the time, just chatting to AnthonyS.

Yes, let's be nice to someone who makes a big production about how they are leaving because, in essence, we all suck. The community sucks. The developers suck. If you wanted to leave, you could have done it in a quiet fashion, and just went on your way. This post was done to invite confrontation, and now you have what you wanted.
