Option to turn off the music?

Postby Kazz » Thu Oct 12, 2006 4:52 am

If there already is one, let me know. But I want to listen to my own music while I play the game, and the only way to do that is to turn off all the sounds.

Here you go my friend. Montyphy made a great .txt file to remove the crying woman, the music, and other sounds. Download the one you want and place it in the proper directory.

Scroll down to montyphy's post.
If you have any trouble, just tell me.

Do a search and you'll find several options to turn off the music in the Mods section of the forum ;)
Anyways just extract sound.txt and edit out the music by yourself or download a made no music sound.txt from mod section :P

But why would you want to do that? The ingame music fits the game perfectly. It's so creepy.

I extracted the sound files and converted them to .wavs so now I can listen to them in WMP ;)
