elDiablo, from el Diablo, from the Mexicans (i think) meaning "the devil", not just plain old devil, but the devil ;)

My actual nick is Epsilonwing, I've switched back and forth from that to 'Epsilon', to 'Eps', etc, just for kicks, but Epsilonwing is the original.

I've used Epsilonwing (and it's variants) since 1997 when the game Descent: Freespace 'The Great War' came out.  (Or was it '98?).  In that game, you have command of different squadrons or 'wings' of space fighters and bombers.  You're always in alpha wing, and usually have beta wing and gamma wing along for the ride.  however in later missions, you get to use your epsilon wing.

they kicked ass!

My name simply refers to my hight (6 feet 1 inch at 14). I also go by the gaming name "2tall4yall", or "Anneruion_Eregion". For all those Tolkien freaks out there, see if you can get my real name from the third nick (hint - as far as I know, it's Sindarin, but there may be Quenya in there. I combine the two so much it's hard to tell anymore.)
P.S. the 88 is the year I was born. And yes, I'm Christian, and proud of it!

I don't think any really cares about religion in here......
Religion does not define who you are. You define who you are by your actions.

Thank you, Rkiver. You wouldn't believe how many forums you'll get flamed in for even mentioning religion. But seriously, being a Christian does define my actions. If I weren't, I'd probably have released a really nasty virus onto the Internet (and I could've. It's called a Trojan Phoenix, a cross between a Trojan and a Phoenix, with all the nastiest parts about both. Tested it on a lame 50mHz PC and the thing is now scrap. Literally.). But thank you for not flaming my butt here.

Goliath88: I wouldn't flame someone over their religion, it is their choice.

However your post regarding your "Trojan Phoenix" does leave you open for torrents of abuse, as we tend not to like people who brag about items such as that, as this is a gaming forum, not a hacking one.

I would also be of the opinion that your religion has nothing to do with not releasing said virus, your morals may have stopped you, but your morals aren't always linked with religion. I'm not religious in anyway, though I used to be Catholic I changed after seeing the inherent hypocracy in it, though I would be a moral person.Regardless that is just my opinion.

Welcome to the community, and enjoy the game.

Oh, I see. I've just got morals (and skills) y'all don't understand. Too bad. I was hoping the Uplink crowd (my fave game) would be more forgiving to a hacker with morals.

Erm... why would not being a Christian cause you to release a trojan etc. ?
Does that imply that non-Christians are evil, malicious bastards?

Edit: Also - why do so many people insist on putting their year of birth attached to their nick on the internet - doesn't it occur to you people that it causes us to have preconcieved ideas and often patronise people unnecessarily?
Honestly though, it does look quite lame having that in your name and what was that about your height being in your name?

As I previously stated this is a gaming forum. We don't tend to go for the bragging of hacking, if indeed any of us are. We don't advertise the fact if we do hack, as it is almost too easy to trace people who post on this forum, as the moderators can tell you.

As for you being a hacker with morals, well I'm not saying you are or aren't a hacker, I rather not debate that, but there are plenty of hackers with morals out there, you just don't always hear of them.

Sorry 'bout the TroPhoe. I get carried away at times. And I agree. Catholicism is riddled with hypocrisy, however, that is not true about all religion. I personally don't care what you believe, so long as you believe.

No, it's implying that I get frustrated enough at some sites to want to take them down, but like Rkiver said, I'll get off the hacking subject.
