I got redbaron back in my college days because I was a student activist it was originally Der Rote Baron because I did a german degree.  Read my political posts & it's all pretty clear, and yes I know Manfred Von Richthofen was not a Communist, but you know what nicks are, and it beat 'the fat long-haired git' which was rapidly starting to stick.
As for Icepick -you bastard, it was you wot did for Trotsky!
And Iris, nice one, as for chicks being dumb -nah no man would have had the intricacy of thought to come up with your sig, we're all rather logical thud and blunder merchants!!!

Its from Tolkien, I believe.  It is a name given to Eol's (the Dark Elf) son.  :)

My nick is a character I wrote in a story a year ago.
He is the result of a top secret government experiment, using nanites, to make the perfect soldier.When he found out that he was going to be destroyed because the government couldn't keep him secret any longer, he broke out.  He vowed to himself that one day he would take over the government, and kill his creators in an act of revenge.

I think that my nick sucks.

The reason i picked 'jimmy' was because around the time i registered i knew someone who always used to call me jimmy. Even though my real name has absolutely nothing to do with Jimmy or James or any other Jim type name. I think maybe it was because he thought all Scottish people are called Jimmy.

The reason for 8159 is that the day before i registered i played Dino Crisis™ for about 10 hours and it was the access code for a weapons locker.

well, Mas, nice of you to be so honest with your thoughts. i created my sig because i wanted it, basically for me, and for those few who may ask. of course you can ignore them if you want to, i basically don't give a shit. but since you took a fancy at commenting on my sig against the other members here then i figure it did strike your fancy, even just a little bit, right? ^_^

Young Scottish people are called laddy (or laddie).

Normally older Scottish people reply to Jimmy, Tam or 'pal' just before they get hit.

yes and it means "Son of Twilight". and for all u that have always dreamt of a Tolkien inspired nicks, there is a name generator
