The price and trailer basicly convinced me. The gameplay looked nice and for that price i just couldnt turn it down :)

I snagged the demo after seeing it advertised, liked it so much that I bought it and Darwinia at the same time. Uplink looked kinda boring, so I skipped it. Love Darwinia though.

Ever since watching Wargames, I was hooked on telecommunications and hacking, and wanted to play Global Thermonuclear War against WOPR. If not for that, I might have become interested in, oh, sports. So I turned geek.

I played the demo and liked it. Then I looked at the price tag, and promptly bought it. It's not often that you can find a game this good for under $20.

Global Thermonuclear War. The Ability to Pwn the World sounds great to me

What made me buy DEFCON?

NeoThermic kidnapped my dog, and then sent me a picture of him strangling it with a piano wire. He said that if I bought the game, he would return the dog when they mailed my box version (to save postage).

Since that is taking longer then expected, I hope he remebered to put in air holes and a water dish.

I bought it because it will work natively with Linux.

I purchased it simply because of how Linux friendly Introversion is. After my experiences with Darwinia and Uplink I will always purchase a boxed copy of whatever game introversion releases as long as they continue to release versions for Linux
