ok i want to use linux, what do i have to do to get it to run
do i have to format ? what do i need to do?

and i want to us the blackbox shell for windows
what does this require will it function on win98?

i read it and dowlnaoded it but im not at home at my dads and hes running xp.

i just want to no if it wil run on my comp.

just to make sure, blackbox for windows isnt linux. It is a windows shell replacement based on the *nix window manager blackbox.

You might want to find the Linux Documentation Project's guidebooks -- in particular, the "Linux User's Guide", "Linux System Administrator's Guide", and "Linux Network Administrator's Guide".  Your distribution also likely provides distribution-specific manuals.

.. he isnt asking about linux lol, all he wanted this entire time is the stuff i used in my screenshots on my site, the one he wanted was running bb4win, blackbox for windows, http://www.desktopian.org/bb/

hehe, actually you could do that. You get make/get a loader that will let u load the linux kernal from dos/ms-dos.
