Downloaded it so long ago I can't remember - it's just the executable, right? Check your e-mail, Kris.

If someone would email it to me I will host it as downlink is no longer in existance.  Or maybe Icepick could put it on Modlink.  :)

Hmmmm.  Tripod hasn't seen fit to take down the disposable site I created there.  It's not the same code as Zaptan's, since I wrote it instead, but there's both source code (ANSI C) and executables (one for Windows, built using DJGPP; one for Linux, built using gcc).

So if you don't trust executables from basically anonymous people, you can examine the source code and build your own.  It's a simple program w/ a simple build (well, it's set up for DJGPP/Windows.  To build on Linux, find the obvious #ifdef and comment it out.)

There's no GUI.  However, since it accepts a variety of input-output foo, it'd be trivial for somebody to wrap a GUI 'round it if anybody cares to.

I think that maybe the site in question here is Section 51. You can get Redshirt from the downloads centre. :)

Okay, not sure if this is the right place for this or not, but anyone have a pointer to the redshirt file format/algorithm?  I have a copy of redshirt.exe, but since I'm running linux...

If I can get the info, I could make a version availible for linux users.

An encrypter/decrypter in which some of Uplinks .dat files are encrypted in.
