When a nuke lands on one of your assets, you gotta have the "KHAAAAAAAAAAAN!" sound.

Sub loss sounds should be "It's a trap!".

Yes, I plan on doing alot with sound. I'm looking at the sound .txt and it seems really easy to understand what sound Is played where... Although it will be hard to use ytmnd sound effects without being annoying. Most events appear have at least 3 different sound effects to go along with them, and are randomly selected. So I'll just like...edit just one of each so you aren't constantly annoyed by Sound effects.

Good to see the STC set is starting to show up places.


Yeah, I'm using it as a template of sorts.

EDIT: What's the diff between the "English" and "Copy of English" in the language folder? As far as I can tell, the english one is the same but smaller. Is the copy useless? When I edit the names of things I won't have to change it as well will I?

Next question on my list: Are the fallout SEs used for anything? It looks like they were originally used for People dieing from Nuclear Fallout, but I ran some tests and as Far as I can tell they aren't used for anything.

Oook.

I edited a sound, exported it as an Ogg vorbis, and put it in file blah blah blah and when It played in game in was like, really, really slow.

Uh...Did I do something wrong?

Just a guess: Should I increase or descrease sample rates or something? I exported it as 44hz.

Great mod idea!

Maybe you could actually do it in the style of the YTMND wars fad, with Ebaumsworld, Myspace, 4chan and stuff as the other factions? :wink:

Seriously, who would want to play as Ebaum's World or Myspace?

Edit: Grr, I don't understand. Apparently all the Sound Files are slowed down quite alot when they're brought into the game.

If anyone has any info on how and why the sounds are slowed down, please tell me.

Erm... that might be the reason they're all OGG files...

You can't create seperate units for seperate territories... sorry man.

Yeah, I have no idea what an OGG is ok? Work with me here. Ok, I'll try two things now, see how it works
-Try exporting sound as .WAV and see if that works alright.
-Speed up sounds in audio editer before they're exported.

As for release date: As soon as I'm done with it. It'll be awhile, this is my first mod attempt and am still figuring everything out. But all things considered, this is going smoothly really.
