Thanks to Endy for the patch which closes a security hole in these forums - they should be ok now.  Hopefully we won't see any more threads that crash the forums.  The thread number is still very high (19278176379) but there is nothing that can be done about that - there are too many legitimate threads that have such high ids that i'd have to wipe the last week of conversations to clear it.  So, please ignore the post count on the front page and continue to enjoy the forums ;)

Chris you should really use phpBB or Snitz. There better than this. All you'd have to do is put one of them up and archive this forum somewhere else. Or delete it.

Ack!  I keep getting an "Internal Server Error" when I try to enter the forums, however, it will let me go directly to posts (such as this one), and the only reason I got to this one was through Chris's profile (last posted in...).  It'll let me on the main page, though...odd...

Crazy as it might sound, I think the best thing that Chris can do is close these forums down, archive all of them, and start from scratch.  Whatever happened really screwed it up.
