Did my first 5k obstacle/mud run today, it was a ton of fun. I think this is something I could get into.

Wendryn ran a half marathon a couple of weeks ago. After completing that, she started talking about the "Tough Mudder" events. I think that I (and the severe tendonitis in her hip) have convinced her not to do that. She is, instead, beginning to train for a triathlon. I think that you are all nuts. Like, coocoo-nutty-pants.

Amanda did a Tough Mudder last fall, but I missed the sign in. She's done with them though, her ankles weren't great to begin with and it wrecked them. I don't know if I want to do a tough mudder, but 5k distances are still a go for her so we did today's together. I might go up to 10k or so, but I'm not eager for much more.

I wouldn't want to do it if it weren't for the obstacles. This one was a mix of a obstacle, mud, and color run, so it kept it interesting.

Running is not fun. Climbing things, jumping off of things, jumping into things, jumping over things, sliding down things, crawling under things, splashing through things, and swimming across things is fun.

If you want a re-match, we look forward to ruling you all over again. Just don't bring those damned French back into it this time, OK?

I just watched a Russian American almost blow his family up. Put a flat basketball in an aluminum cylinder with lots of gunpowder pumped the basketball up and lit the fuse, with a beer in his hand. Ha close call buddy :p

The basketball did not launch out by the way..

This is what I love about the 4th.. :) Dangerous yet so fun..

lets make fireworks illegal /sarcasm
