I have to go with Thursday. It's a couple of days after the "oh god why isn't it still weekend" feeling at the start of the week. That, and it's so close to Friday that you can practically taste the weekend, yet still get some work done. I love Thursdays.

Best day of the week, for me, has always depended on circumstances.

Each year of High School and University has changed the best day depending on when/how many classes I've had, and what I end up doing in my free time.

If I had to choose a day, Saturday is probably the best, because I get to enjoy myself and not worry about my work until Sunday, which is when I tend to start prepping for Monday.

I work most Saturdays, so Sunday. The day of awesome (and often dim sum with my girlfriend)

Right now, one day is much like the next. On Mondays and Wednesdays I work on algebra or topology, on Tuesdays and Thursdays I am either in class or teaching from 11:00 in the morning until 9:00 at night, and on Saturdays and Sundays I am in the office working on analysis, topology, or my thesis for 8-10 hours. Fridays are a bit of a relief---all I have to do is take care of the kid all day. Whee!

I chose Thursday because nothing distinctly shitty has happened to me on that day. It's as if my life has a safe-zone. And that safe zone is Thursday. Also, some of my favorite shows air on them. The Office, Conan, and The Big Bang Theory.

Honestly, college renders the distinction between days more or less meaningless. Oh, sure, I don't have class on weekends, but I often still have works to do and my regular weekend routine probably takes as much, or more, time than if I had classes. Even the ability to sleep late doesn't help that much since I if I start getting tired during the week I often pick a day where I have no important classes in the morning and take the morning to catch up on sleep.

As such, I honestly can't really think of a day to pick.

As Xocrates stated, there really isn't much distinction between the days (of the week) regarding college.

I always was fond of Wednesday from The Addams Family, though.
