I'm just going to go along with 99.9% of the Internet and say "Well, that was unexpected."

Maybe this is what happens when Chris marries an artist ;)

The game looks... interesting. Bullfrog meets introversion?

I think maybe 99.9% of the internet says "Who's Introversion?"
I wonder when we'll get to see more info about this game.

Huh. First impression: Prison Tycoon. But, I expect more from IV, so I guess we'll see.

So, Chris didn't really scrap all the dev for Subversion? "Prison Architect" sounds like it would have a lot of elements that would've been found in it.

I say instead of throwing away an initially good idea, he decided to make a small buck from the dev. That IS a lot of time to just toss away.

EDIT: I also love how they just retweeted rock paper shotgun, and not tweet the news themselves :D

That's what I thought, I'm kind of disappointed. They need a release to keep afloat. Why try and recreate the hype? Subversion was already hyped.

I'm not disappointed, I'm just curious what makes it different.

Maybe you only design the prison (hence the architect part) and then pray that the builders get it right.

Maybe building actually takes as long as it's supposed to and you have to keep inmates away from those areas while never having a capacity problem.
