They're having a 25% off sale on FPS, except the prices on the sale page are almost all wrong (for the most part applying the discount to the discounted price, but some just way off) and several of the real prices are completely different from the ones present on the store front of their downloader.
All of this would be rather sad, if not for the fact that they apparently screwed up and have MoH: Airborne by the hefty sum of 0.00€
/me goes to check if they screwed more games like this
Last time I got a game for free off the EA store, they promptly refunded it without asking me.
So... Impulse's Thanksgiving sale has started, and perhaps the most noteworthy item is the STALKER bundle for 10$ (that's Shadows of Chernobyl + Call of Pripyat)
Now, I already own Shadows, and I kind of liked it though wasn't greatly impressed. The price seems decent even if I just want Pripyat, but could anyone who played both give me some notes on how they compare, specifically regarding gameplay and story?
For instances, one of my issues with the original was that the plot was vague and disjointedly presented, with no memorable characters, and little reason to do sidequests, not to mention the inability to keep playing after finishing the main story. To what extent did this change?
EDIT: Nevermind, found RPS Wot I think which answered most of my questions. Will probably get it.

Oi! Age of empires III for 10 cents, 1 day only: http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-GB/dailydeal/day7/
Returning from a successful mission usually means that I approach from the east, passing over the Sea of Galilee. Flying over it, the Mediterranean towards the horizon and the Jordan River flowing south, provides for a very nice view.
Verdict: Getting back into flight sims was definitely a good idea.
It's asking for a CD key. I have none, since I downloaded. What do I do?Xocrates wrote:Oi! Age of empires III for 10 cents, 1 day only: http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-GB/dailydeal/day7/
Some people talk because they have something to say. Others talk because they have to say something.
