I get a random *tish*....*tish* sound every now and then as well, but on XP.

I wont be upgrading this computer to windows 7, it's at the lowest end of the range of today's-game-playing computers and anything new in 7 wont improve performance.
Ill have to buy a new one :( yipee

A question for our US friends...

Are Glee clubs in the US as vilified as fiction might have us believe and has the success of Glee changed attitudes any?

I didn't know they even still existed, I've never heard of a school that actually has one.

I just made 3D Conway's Game Of Life scripts for Paint3D. It's my very first script ever :P

Problem is - everything is exploding like crazy with the default numbers and gets boring. Does anyone know what numbers could work well for something like this?

Today I (somewhat randomly) ended up watching Invictus.

It was a fairly decent movie. However it feels more like two movies glued together. It starts as a fairly interesting politically inclined movie featuring Nelson Mandela, but eventually becomes a very standard sports movie with rather underdeveloped characters (only Damon's character gets some token development). I actually laughed quite a bit during the final game for all the clichés they were using, I simply loved the slow zoom on the game timer as the seconds passed in slow motion with a loud thud . 8)

There are also some scenes, especially during the Mandela segments, that are meant to evoke some tension but end up felling a bit awkward since, you know, it's an historical movie and Inglourious Basterd this ain't.

And overall decent feel good movie, but not much more than that.

Someone laughed at my post. Huzzah.

Although they were probably being polite.
And it was txtspeek, so doesn't really count.
And no-one I know actually laughs out loud when they type "lol".
And maybe he just meant lots of luck.
Wonder what for?

The English Wikipedia article is rather short (so no-one has bothered to update it, so it's hardly important.

On a side note, could I have some feedback on my Simple English Wikipedia article?

BBCode fail. Hello, xander.

By the strict definition of a 'Glee Club', there are few. If we extend the set to High School Choirs in general, they're very common in the Western US. I've been doing Choir stuff nearly daily for the past week, in fact. My choir's pretty good... We were at a competition today, and were scored at a 1+ (1 to 5, 1 is best) by both judges. 98/100 overall score. :)
So I might be a bit biased, but I think school choirs are pretty normal these days.
