The place to hang out and talk about totally anything general.

Also, Eidos Pack for 45.99€

Batman: AA alone is worth that.

Just finished Borderlands.

Personally I quite enjoyed it. True, it doesn't have an awful lot of variety in enemies and locations, but felt the game was fun enough to overlook that. It helps I was looking for a game like it for some time now.

My major complains about it is that the beginning and the ending go on for far too long. The ending in particular was annoying as there was very little to do and yet there were still about 4 maps to go through (on foot), with the last couple of them being essentially long corridors. And to top it all, the ending itself consisted of a pathetically easy boss that came out of nowhere and a few very odd "revelations", which means the despite the ending stretch being fucking long, it also felt amazingly rushed.

But like I said, I enjoyed the game, and will probably get the DLC while the steam sale is still going on.

I'm on course for 200 steam games by the time this sale is over :(

Hey, that steam sale is on. You know, the one with the game that we should all own or else?

Even though I already own both it's tempting to get the Steam versions so I don't have to worry about disks, and for the achievements (yay validation!)...

Have I ever mentioned that the only reason I no longer own 3 copies of Darwinia and Multiwinia (including 1 Steam version of each) is because I gave away on copy each on a Secret Santa thingy?

In other news, got Street Fight IV. And other than me sucking horribly at it, it seems rather fun. I never really understood why fighting games need to lock half the characters though.

If I get this it'll be my second copy of Darwinia, third of Multiwinia (if I count my beta key).

3 copes of Darwinia (original, limited tin and Steam) and 4 copes of Multiwinia (limited tin, beta, Steam beta, Steam). In fact, the beta is still in my Steam account. That'll probably get annoying at some point. :P

Decided to get the steam deal. Sigh.

This brings the count to: Uplink 0, Darwinia 3, Defcon 1, Multiwinia 3

Finally got The Void in the steam sale at half price (only $10), even if it turns out to be too frustrating to play at least I should find it interesting and a change from the usual.

I've been hopelessly addicted to SHIV for almost a year now, can't wait for 5. :D
