Postby The Reds » Tue Aug 11, 2009 11:40 am

Ok. This is not the only random topic in this area but it came to me to see who listened to old school rock like from the 60's and 80's. If I missed any, let me know. Here are some of the back-round info on these bands.

Jimi Hendrix= 'Best Soul Guitarist in the world'

Led Zeppelin= "Biggest Band Of The 70's" =1

Red Hot Chili Peppers="Top Ten Most Grossing Albums"

Elvis Presley="The King Of Rock And Roll" =1

Donovan="Known For His Appearances"

The Beatles="Most Known Around Band'

Buffalo Spring="Left A Legacy Of Rich Recordings"

The Rolling Stones="Known For It's Political Coverage In 70's" =1

The Who="Known As Energetic Performers"

Elton John="Most Successful Artist Of All Time" =1

Pink Floyd="Known For Philosophical Lyrics" =2

Johnny Cash="Known For Distinctive Bass Voice" =1

While I'd agree the options aren't that great, I'd also agree you can't put them all up there. So I'd have to go with Elvis.

He's got it all; sex, drugs, and rock and roll. :P

The beatles are a pop band, not a rock and roll band. I'll vote for the rolling stones for consistency.

Neil Young was in Buffalo Spring so it's already there. :)
