Can anyone get me a blank ogg vorbis track?
I need to remove some tracks from the game so i can fit it on my 64mb stick.
Indeed it fits, but i need to put my work on there too.

"Surely you didn't mean to press that button just then did you?"
"No, nor will i disarm the nukes."
"Oh well, I will have my Fighters shoot them down."
"Sure you will."
"Oh NOES, ITS BEEN PATCHED!!!"

Defcon 5: Idlewild - Actually It's Darkness
Defcon 4: 30 Seconds To Mars - Echelon
Defcon 3: Clair De Lune - The Things They Carried
Defcon 2: Muse - Sing For Absolution
Defcon 1: The Secret Machines - Now Here Is Nowhere
The Secret Machines - Now Here Is Nowhere would fit D2 or D3 too but I don't want to repeat artists.

Am I the only one who thinks more of the Eiffel Tower, the Kremlin or the Coliseum than of people when nuking cities ?

VNV Nation is easily my top pick. They're an electro-industrial band whose music is all about grim, unwinnable battles, morally questionable acts, and bloodthirsty gods. And yet they'd still be *much* less creepy than the original soundtrack, which I described in a review of the game as "a subtly horrific soundtrack of soft, operatic keening like choirs of damned souls, punctuated by occasional ghostly sounds of human misery -- coughs and echoing cries of distress, as if, just out of earshot, hundreds of wretched radiation victims were breathing their last as the world they knew and loved was incinerated."
This is a song a friend did for me for my project and thought you guys would like to have a listen while playing

100 Red Balloons - whatever version you like the most.
In these ashes
that were a city
I look for a souvinier
Just to prove that we were here

N0ughts recent suggestions are in fact not real, see, he has used his initial suggestion of the timeless awesomeness of Black Sabbath to illustrate the way things used to be, and then has gone on to show obvious deteriation in taste to the point of listing 5 songs by Slipknot, the worst band ever concieved, in order to show (albeit in an abstract manner) that Defcon is not just a game, but in fact a documentary which states clearly the future of society, and that we are doomed to make stupid choices, like for instance, actually listening to Slipknot, or starting a nuclear war resulting in the destruction of all life on Earth, which of the two would be more irritating is beyond me, but the message is there and I commend N0ught for his efforts.
Unless he was serious, in which case that nuclear war can't be far off.

Funker Vogt - Nuclear Winter
look toward the ocean see reflections on the water
A glossy illumination of the city lights
Far out in the waves is the shape of a whale
Hear it singing its old song like it has always done
It was just a dream which comes and goes
As do the old seasons while the wind still blows (x2)
Open the door, step outside
Walk on the frozen ground
Look in the sky - a grey cloud
Winter is still around (x2)
It will take a hundred years waiting for the summer
And no one just yet knows if we'll hear the whales again
Nuclear winter covers the world for almost twenty years
All what we own are dreams and hope for the next generation
Open the door, step outside
Walk on the frozen ground
Look in the sky - a grey cloud
Winter is still around(x2)
It was just a dream which comes and goes

It would be well for your government to consider that having your ships and ours, your aircraft and ours, in such proximity... is inherently DANGEROUS. Wars have begun that way, Mr. Ambassador....

Ashes! Ashes!
We all fall down!
London Bridge is falling down,
Falling down, Falling down.
London Bridge is falling down,
My fair lady.
