It's all in your head, Part 13
This is looking incredible - the final game looks as though it will be a breathtaking, complex, rewarding... thing, whatever it'll be!
On the subject of people, who may or may not be for scale purposes - wouldn't it be rather boring to simulate a city, and then not populate it? I, for one, am hoping for people. Whether you will be one of them, or perhaps an omnipotent Actuator-sabotaging lift-confusing RTS-type deity is another matter for speculation, methinks.

This reminded me of GRAW. Did anyone else find it awkward for Mexico City, the most populous city on the globe, to be entirely empty?
A void argument when talking about Subversion I think, as this is obviously not going to be a tactical shooter (or is IV really going to surprise us?

There are. If for example we make the assumption that the game is about corporate espionage, then citizens barely factor as anything other than a statistic you hear about sometimes.jelco wrote:A void argument when talking about Subversion I think, as this is obviously not going to be a tactical shooter (or is IV really going to surprise us?), but I think there are reasons for a game to be empty of citizens nonetheless. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Always Awesome
I look forward to these Subversion updates, as much as I look forward to the release of a full game. The technical aspects pique the imagination.
Jumping ahead and capability unknown, but my first script: hand-glider.
Oh and MACBOOK? Will we get a Mac version same time as PC? *wish*

To really surprise me they will have to make it WWII first person shooter
To REALLY surprise me, they would have to make it a modern version of pong.
Presumably it will be entirely possible to recreate Pong within the Subversion world.

Here is my signature. Make of it what you will.

ITS A "MISSION IMPOSSIBLE" THEMED GAME! Nah, not really, but still, it seems quite impressive. Maybe you and a squad of online mates go through the city, to a target building, and then shoot some shit, followed by robbing some shit, and then taking a shit. ALL IN THE SAME GAME! IS AWESOME!

I have no idea what the hell this is.
