I've never wanted to read the manga for other anime series I've watched before (even though they differ a lot - FMA springs to mind) but for some reason I'm rather excited about reading this one. :P Yeah, I'm questioning my own sanity right now too...

Actually, I'm might do the same thing, with Elfen Lied. The manga goes for about twice as long as the anime, and has a different ending. (It also answers a lot of loose ends from the Anime, which they left unanswered becuase answering them raised further questions)

You should really read the FMA manga - it's superior to the series, I think. :p

I believe the correct title for this thread should be "Jelco's Favorite...." :P

I'm just posting here to allow for another post without it being a triple, and to say I can't believe it's (this thread) is still going.

I've heard good things about Code Geauss from my friends, I'm going to go get that off them at some point.

Until then, I'm keeping to my as-it-airs-in-Japan Bleach.

FMA. And yes I read the manga, it's miles better. I cannot wait for the reboot in a few months!

Welcome. You seem not to be highly irritating and seem to have a grasp of grammar. You have a huge head-start in being liked around here already. ;)

Those two ideas are fundamentally incompatible.

He could sign every post with PGP, now that would be annoying.

If you enjoyed one of these, you should see the others.

Code: Select all

Azumanga Daioh
School Rumble
Pani Poni Dash
Kodocha
Strawberry Marshmallow

Are there more anime that should be on this list?

You probably already know this, but Viz started to stream Naruto online. It's free one week after release, and pretty good quality. :)

Hopefully more shows will follow.

I will probably get the paid version just to support the idea, when I start working again.
