I was never particularly fond of Age of Mythology for some reason. Although I love Age of Empires 2

Agreed, Age of Conquerers is awesome, AoM, not so much.

The Vikings can be described thus:

Original: Overpowered
Patch: Nerfed
Expansion: Nerfed again
Expansion patch: Completely pathetic.

Hi. I had fun with Civ III, Superpower (not Superpower2) and Europa Universalis II. All these are turn based...maybe is it the reason why my Defcon matches are so slow? SPEED! SPEED!

I liked playing the campaign in WiC, but past that i didn't find much that interested me, i liked levelling citys with artillery, but to me the skirmish AI left some stuff to be desired, like it's over exuberence to flak round behind your defences by using blasted APCs that can go acros water

Dawn of war is a good one as well

Have you played any of the previous C&C games.

The first C&C is a classic, RA1 is awesome too.
