I guess this'll work...

- a badge for being a mod author for each of IV's games.

- a badge for helping IV solve a (possibly longstanding) bug with one of their games that made it into release, I guess awarded by the IV member whom fixed it.

- Maybe even just have a badge that shows the member's favourite game.

edit;
= Someone jokingly suggested owners of fluffwinians - I happen to have a list of all the owners of them, and what numbers they own, so if people thought that was a good idea I could certainly facilitate it.

xander stabity attack - receiving the Wraith of xander.
Spammer - Most useless posts. Use the NeoThermic 'Bat Signal'.

Pity the games aren't tied into the forum, you could have weekly winners (and losers):

This Week's Mass Murderer - for Multiwinia, a player that has killed the most darwinians
This Week's Dictator - For DEFCON, a player that has won the most games in one week, with the most points.
This Week's Lemming - For Multiwinia, killing or losing the most darwinian on their own side.
This Week's Turret Master - For Multiwinia, most manual kills with one turret.

Seconded. Perhaps some sort of extra special looking badge that makes everybody else go "ooooohhhh".

How come there's no link to get back once you go to the badge section? (besides the "back" button)

Oh yes, "contest winner" badge *coughynbniarcough*

Edit: Something like this for the community service badge:Image

Most forums have a system of awarding an honorary badge that is given to hand-picked members of the community that are deemed to be exceptionally knowledgable, helpful, eloquent, etc. New members of the community, when asking questions, can immediately identify these individuals as people who know what they are talking about.

(Usually, it is from these that the admins select new moderators when necessary, but we don't need any mods when we've got NeoThermic.)

Some people talk because they have something to say. Others talk because they have to say something.

Not to break the party or anything, but could there be a 'hide' button in the profile options?
Otherwise I have to mess with Greasemonkey again, and I hate working with that.

This, definitely.
Also,

- Schroedinger's badge: Held only by those without badges.

:P

And I agree with Max, it would be nice if there were a profile option to hide them.
