Cal me ignorant but i only just noticed that a lot of Defcon players seem a lot older than I...... just curious of the general ages of the players and users of the forum......

Age- wise I should be in the 15-20 area, but there were a few years when I was presented 2 cakes (at different parties, one family, one friends). So I will have to say 20-25

i'm forty - a mature gamer - i used to sneak into the school computer lab to play Elite on BBC computers! :D

who remembers Elite here?? - quite possibly the best computer game of all time... 8)

who remembers BBC computers?...aah, nostalgia ain't what it used to be... :lol:

but next year i won't have a button to press on the poll...

We have BBC Computers in the physics lab in my High School. Though I just graduated this year.

crikey - they got to be 25 years old! have you ever tried loading Elite from one of those big floppy disks? (they were floppy then lol :) )

surely mobile phones are more powerful than beebs nowadays (though not so programable i guess...)

Yep, that's why I dropped A-level computing; too much time spent playing Elite on the BBCs.

And I'll be 40 in a couple of weeks.
