Looking for Linux Testers?

Postby andee » Sun Oct 01, 2006 4:17 pm

Myself and AllenJB (unsure if he's a member of the forums) are both dedicated linux users, both of us favoring Gentoo over all other distributions. We are both currently Studying Computer Science at the University of Kent. If there's anything we can do to help, just ask.

Linux patch testing will come soon, but don't fear, it's already in the works as we speak :)

Ok, cool. Only reason I ask is because Thee only two Operating Systems I have installed are Vista and Gentoo!

It'd just take a while to sort out an XP installation, and I'm having little luck with Wine 0.9.22

I would also add myself to that list, if possible.

Another Linux user here, plus Mac user on a low-end (= old, 500MHz, RAM upgraded to 640MB) iBook if anyone wants testing for a worst-case scenario!

I can offer SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop as well as the openSUSE dists, and some help with getting them fixed if they don't work for Defcon ;-) (I happen to work there.)
