I love both games and I can see why someone would make that comparison. But they aren't at all that similar.
Heh, I saw the "stand back, i'm going to try SCIENCE" one a while ago. I myself own the "maybe if this shirt is witty enough, someone will finally love me" shirt Razz
Where were you when you saw it? I own one of my own, and haven't seen XKCD (or any, for that matter) merchandise on other people.
Soooo, blood test results. And they aren't good. I have to go back in Wednesday for more tests and the like.
Hope it isn't too serious, or even better, a mix up in blood samples.
I have "Stand Back, I'm going to try SCIENCE", "Science, It Works Bitches", "My Normal Approach is Useless Here" and "No Raptors", and it surprises me how many people just walk up to me and say "hey, that's from xkcd. cool".
If any of you are ever around the University of Nottingham and see someone wearing one, odds are it's me (or, since due to some kind of mistake, my order arrived (and presumably was sent) by the European distributor (seemingly based in Ireland) twice, someone I know, I had to do something with the spares). Same goes for anyone around Malvern or Worcester outside Uni term time (though, that is only likely to apply to martin, I can't think of many good reason that someone who doesn't live here would be likely to go to Worcester).

Back on the non-random xkcd shirts thread: I have science, it works bitches, no raptors, regex, sudo and compiling, and I wear the raptor and science ones the most (the others are usually at work or casual days at school)... I haven't had many random people recognise them yet, but I get some weird looks.

My friend was supposed to get me science it works bitches but she forgot to think about shipping and it still hasn't arrived. She also got me this t-shirt and that one certainly gets funny looks.

Wow! Two portuguese Pratchett fans? That must be a new world record (actually, I know of a third one, but he's currently living on norway, so he doesn't really count)
Interesting, I had no idea you were portuguese.
I know a few others as well, including one I brought into the fold. *cue megalomaniac laugh*
Rkiver, I hope it's nothing bad.
