One: xander doesn't run Steam, so this link would be more useful.
Two. xander doesn't run Windows, so either link is pointless.
Some people talk because they have something to say. Others talk because they have to say something.

Additionally, I have no real interest in first person shooters, so the Orange Box (and, thus, Portal) don't really appeal to me.

The frog-blasted vent core begs to differ. :P
That was the only FPS that I have ever played that I could stand. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I never used the mouse to aim, but rather the keyboard, so the POV never whipped around too fast. ;)

I think they did a good job with Aleph One.
Hey, xander, if you would like, I would be willing to play a game against you in Aleph One, right after I get rid of this damn internet dropping problem we have. Stupid Verizon...
I haven't played Marathon since I was in high school. Way back in the days before ubiquitous internets. I have never played multiplayer, and, honestly, suck enough that the idea is not that intriguing. That, coupled with the fact that I am on a laptop without a proper numpad, makes the likelihood of my ever picking up Marathon somewhere between slim and none. As I said above, I don't really like FPSes -- I played Marathon largely for the story.
