It is dark. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

The lecture is called off and you get to have the day off. Hang on a sec, weren't you the lecturer?
You are reminded that you are in a restaurant.
Restaurant
The restaurant is dimly lit, and totally devoid of customers. Most of the tables are very new-looking but covered in dust, save for the table you are currently sitting at, and one other table near you which is also similarly worn. The tables all have one small lit candle in the centre, but not on yours.
As you look out of the dusty window at the front of the restaurant, you can see very little; it is pitch black. The other walls of the restaurant are bare, but there are many slightly lighter rectangular patches, suggesting that all the pictures and other hangings have been recently removed. The room is otherwise bare, apart from a single swinging door, presumably leading to the kitchen, and another door with a toilet sign above it.
There is also a menu on the table, with nothing on it but the name of the restaurant: Déjà Vu.

You are in a small room. The floor is is covered in water stains and dirt. Brown spatter populates the walls. Against the wall to your left is a sink. Next to it are a few broken metal pipes protruding from the wall. There are cracks in the wall around them, suggesting that whatever they were connected to was removed forcefully. Bits of porcelain lay scattered beneath them. They are fresh.
