Sounds a bit too kinky for me.

I won't be playing with Real Life people till the release of the linuy-port; but the we will spice up several lectures about boring buzzword-stuff with some nukes.

If I'm honest though, although I ordered it, I still haven't had a proper look at what DEFCON is all about yet - I just thought "IntroVersion....new game... released tomorrow... they're brilliant... I'm in!"

My release party will be me and a friend drinking beer and then going to see Enslaved live in Gothenburg. So I won't be playing until saturday sometime... but I will download on Friday anyway ^_^

I hate how so many people have just written off DEFCON on the basis of screenshots. For one thing, I personally love the retro cool WarGames look ;) and for another, since when did games become all about the technology used to implement them and not the gameplay. Idiots.

I'll be trying my best to convert as many people as possible, however, believe me!

As for the launch - I'll be playing in (and probably getting swiftly beaten out of) the unoffical tournament.

I bought a copy for me and my older brother who has moved across the country. We plan on nuking each other regularly as a way of staying more in touch. =)

I think that i´m the only spanish player who has pre-ordered Defcon (At least, I´m the only spanish in the Forum), and my friends doesn´t looks to buy this game (they are too much absorbed by Call of Duty), so i signed for the tournament.

Beta testers allowed? It seems to me that they will have son advantage, then...

I guess so, but it'll make beating any of them that much sweeter ;)

Besides, we'll have a couple of hours to get to grips with things prior to the tournament starting...
