Slaves to Armok: God of Blood - Chapter II: Dwarf Fortress
Has anyone played Slaves to Armok: God of Blood - Chapter II: Dwarf Fortress? The concept is really cool, though I'm afraid the learning curve will be too steep for me. I want to get some input before I spend any time trying to figure it out.

A friend from Uni got me into it during the summer holidays. I once tried playing with one Miner, six peasants, minimal equipment, and 50+ dogs. As a true testament to my competence, I did a lot better than usual.
With versions v0.27.169.32a+, I'm once again wondering what the hell I'm supposed to do. Not that I've spent much time trying to work it out.

Especially when you are trying to ride a bike like this.

Back on topic, I tried the game last night and had a heck of a time figuring things out. It took me fifteen minutes to finally figure out enough to make a short tunnel in a mountain. Once I got that far, I didn't know what to do next, so I gave up for the night. The only city-builders I've played are SIMCity and SIMCity 2000 (and was terrible at both), so I'm going to have a heck of a time getting the hang of it. But perseverance is everything.
