Pah! Of course gerbils and hamsters are going to vote for the rodent. And equally naturally, people like me empathise with fellow Lame-Asses*.
*(which is of course an elegant metaphor in reference to a beast of burden unable to fulfil its duty as it is crippled)
EDIT: It's interesting to see how both characters are products of foreign misinterpretation of quintessentially European phenomena i.e. that plumbers are multitalented superheroes that crush walking hamburgers and pull a discus on unsuspecting hornèd dinosaurs, and that hedgehogs are speedy blue blurs.
EDIT 2: So I posted it months ago - I can't help fixing things, I'm a pedant.
