So where's this list of the testers accepted so far that I keep seeing mentioned?
You just wasted 3 seconds of your life you'll never get back, by reading this. Sucks, don't it?

Yeah, but for a 100 new testers there is surprisingly little activity on the server and all.

well i think, that a lot of people are testing on CPUs. i for example cant get a game with other testers to work, so i 'play' with cpus only.

They're one and the same. Beta testers are chosen from Alpha testers, who are chosen from those that have filled out that form.

I really hope they choose me.I totally adore Uplink and Darwinia, and can't wait to play Defcon.Thing is, almost nobody here in Bulgaria likes Darwinia. Most people just keep playing their mindless shooters or third-person actions, with their defined genre names and the same gameplay over and over again.Maybe the variety of gameplay in Darwinia isn't appealing to those people. The design is too extravagant for them. The ideas of the game are too strange for a person that only looks for the next realistic "next-gen" shit. They can't see that Darwinia is actually the history of video games itself, a mirror where you can see reflected the once beautiful land of dreams that games were and the coldness of the virtual world they have transformed into...the past, the present, and the future. All the questions Darwinia evokes.Maybe they don't have the senses to see it, but anyway...I really hope those people will like Defcon with the multiplayer and stuff.Because Introversion's games have this unique feeling of you being the main character - you, on this chair, in front of that screen...you, the player that thinks and feels.

haha, sounds like somebody is trying to suck up and get a beta test email. :D

Good luck to you, but more luck to me. ;-)

EDIT: Weird, it says I only have one post... did the counter reset when I wasn't looking?

I have been wondering about that as well. I think the reason is that it counts each forum (Introversion - Uplink - Darwinia - Defcon) seperately, but I might be mistaken..
