Next Darwinia Windows Patch - Call for Beta Testers
We would like your help in testing the next Windows patch, which will include bug fixes and also some new game-play features. If you are interested, please can you sign up at

We need about 100 people, Windows operating system only.
EDIT: Since this is a patch, you will need the full game in order to test it.

Correct. It seems to be just a patch for Intel Mac support, and to bring it up to date with the currently released PC version. (icon based system, and such) At least, I didn't see any new features in it.
OpenGL is cross platform compatible too... SDL is used mostly for 2D style and sound... The reason they have two test is due to having to compile it into different executables for each OS. Yes, the source code is universal, but do you really think they'll give that out and ask everyone to compile it locally? Sure... that wont be bad at all!
Plus, you have issues with each OS that need addressing.
