I'm now officially interested.

How does one snap one's fingers in a Z formation?

Is the Z formation some kind of gang sign?

This planet is getting over crowded. Solution?

Nanobots in hemoglobin blood cells, "O2 helpers".
They function in the lungs to extract Oxygen from water for delivery to the blood stream.
One "vacination" of nano replicators, and you can't drown. You could live underwater.
This planet has lots of space down there. Imagine the salvage rights?

Just don't live anywhere near Wales, certain Pacific islands, or off the coast of the US and you should be fine.

Also avoid the Adriatic.

Is the "snaps finger in Z-formation" that stereotypical black-woman-dissing-someone-off thing? Usually accompanied by that weird head movement that I, for my life, can't mimic. I guess I lack basic motor skills. :(

Bingo!

And I can't do the head thing, either. My fiance, on the other hand, grew up in East Oakland, and has it down. She speaks Ebonics as a first language :) (Much to her parents chagrin)

actually that's impossible, there simply isn't enough surface area in the lungs to get enough oxygen to support a human. nice idea thogh.

I think he's reffering to the use of nanobots to facilitate the conversion of oxygen from water. If so, then assuming the nanobots are exceedingly efficent at converting and cover the whole surfae area of the lungs, you could in theory do it :)

One HUGE problem with that, we're not made to live in water (aside from your nanbot things). I mean, ever had a bath or gone swimming for an hour or so? Multiply the pruneness by however many hours you live by :P

Simpler solution, underwater biodomes! \o/
