I forgive you cheater bastard

but to all those who said I was a bad loser when I said he was a cheater

you owe me an apology

How did you know?

I saw one of these games but i haven`t seen an evidence.

It seems to be a gesture of humbleness.

I can`t see humbleness when i look to the new ejections in forum. It is a troll not more and trolls are sick persons.

Exactly

But u guys need to take account that he adimitted it, he wasnt caught or anything like that. Everyone needs a second chance.

He admitted it after there has been evidence.

He had the balls to make this post, but that means nothing to me until everybody punched him in his face as hard as he can. So do your duty if you have sympathy.

And like he pointed out himself, he is not only a cheater, but also a server host who bans others for lesser things. It's a fucking scandal!

I too wish it were a joke, but I gather the OP is an admission of guilt after getting busted. And all the time we wasted .... argh.

1. How was it discovered?
2. So a fatal cheat exists, requiring only 2 boxes with two independent IPs. I guess we all already knew this ....
3. One of the IPs should be banned, on principle.
4. Space Dog deserves a second chance, after payment of penalties.
5. All rankings and honors should be stripped.
6. Solutions need to be considered:
a. Special "serous gaming" servers with no spectators allowed.
b. Somehow allow each player to share vision with spectators (or not)
c. Remove fog of war completely.
I admit both a & b suck to the extent that non-players won't be able to enjoy watching the games, and c changes the game entirely, but at least these might preserve game integrity (i.e., there should be some way to ensure fair competition).

I myself have previously admitted to using an exploit, so I am not perfect, but this ...

In the case your are in control of the servers, you dont need 2 independent IPs, you can just disable the cheat protection.

Senator and I vs Laika and Cumiro. Laika dropped from the game and R3D noted that a spectator had left at precisely the same time. He was certain Laika was cheating this way. When Laika got back he admitted to it: Senator and I were extremely pissed-off and the rest took place here on the forums.

I think, however, we do not need to panic so much. Enforcing such restrictions will utterly kill the game. We need a whitelist of player ids for big games; that's all.

The best experience in defcon is playing in a big tourney game with 15 people watching, so Specs should be kept imho

Absolutely; I think the whitelist is the only ideal solution.

Sure, blame me. But I have no idea what you're talking about. I have never run ships on land intentionally; and the few times I've found them there I've never used them. Let's not get carried away with wild unfounded accusations as a result of "Defcon induced paranoia." The Space Dog issue is one thing, and it seems to be working itself out. Please don't meddle with me. I have enough ppl doing so in rl !

He did not kill the game. Lui ci ha deluso come un amico tassista, e la fiducia della comunita. Ma nessuno "stoped" giocare a causa di esso.
