I never noticed the ghost green moth before!
The guess was 100% spot on too. + 1 vote for [RUS] Mike
It was simply power of deduction based on logic.
The picture is taken at 28th april 2012, Saturday, at lunch time. Also visible is the 12 oclock sun which casts no shadows on nearby shrubery. The shadow of the woman is falling straight down. Therefore we can assume the timestamp on the picture to be correct. The day was one of the coldest in the UK (picture wasnt taken in US because of the date format), the womans clothing confirms this. Her coat is fully buttoned and she is wearing gloves. The soft icecream has not had time to melt so it was purchased nearby. The woman is leaning forward as if to hand over both the icecreams. (She possibly needs to use the toilet from the way she is holding in her stomach). The women is heavily protected from the cold yet she is missing her scarf, which she must have to complete the outfit based on her hair style and colour of her gloves. Therefore she just stepped out the car to buy the ice creams, probably at 13:12.
There is windscreen heating black circles visible on top right of picture. The curve of the glass looks like a rear view window. The photo is taken at mid car height, therefore we can assume the height of the person holding the camera is between 130cm to 150cm. The camera is pointing slightly upwards from the excitement of the one holding the camera at receiving his icey treat. The 2 ice creams are identical in size and flavour. Possibly to stop the 2 kid passengers from arguing. However only 1 backsteat apperas to be occupied, therefore the 2 second ice cream must be for the driver. There are many horizontal dirt marks on the windows, meaning the rear passenger often opened the window to get air on long journeys. Altough the dirtiest mark is the top one indicating the car must be quiet old, possible a 1990s model, metal silver 5 gearbox.
The reflection of the paper placed on the rear dash. A hand written dry cleaners receipt of a grey gentleman's coat previousy covered in ice cream, now visible in the left side of the picture. No longer in its clear plastic covering, suggesting the wearer has put it on recently.
So yeah, Moth went shopping with his parents and got ice cream on the way back.
